Drew Barrymore Will Produce a Female- Centric Horror Anthology Show for the CWYou might not instantly associate Drew Barrymore with horror, but the Hollywood veteran has a solid association with the genre, going all the way back to Firestarter and up through Santa Clarita Diet. Classic themes of terror will be tackled via vignettes about guilt, jealousy, repression, paranoia, insanity, sexual obsession and survival through a modern and distinctly feminine lens.”The show—which sounds like it’ll be less slasher- y and more about psychological terror, which would actually be way more interesting and probably way scarier, too—is still “in development,” and there’s no word yet on who else might contribute to the series, or who might star in it.
